Which digital signature should I choose?
Start with the portal and the person authorised to sign. Confirm whether it needs an individual or organisation identity, signing only or signing plus encryption, and a compatible token. A certificate that works for one filing may need additional details for another.

Prepare for identity verification

- PAN and applicable identity/address verification for Indian applicants

- Accepted overseas identity/address evidence for foreign applicants
- The target portal or tender, validity required and existing token details
Do not upload PAN, Aadhaar, OTPs or token credentials in a public enquiry. Our team explains the approved verification channel after the application is scoped.
From selection to use
- Choose the certificate, validity and token requirement.
- Review the price, tax and fulfilment details before payment.
- Complete the certifying authority’s identity checks yourself.
- After issuance, download using the authorised process and configure the required drivers or signing utility.
- Register or associate the DSC on your target portal and check it before the filing deadline.
Your signature stays under your control
A DSC represents the certificate holder. Keep control of your signing token and credentials, review the documents being signed and use the approved signing process. Our assistance does not grant permission to use your signature for other work.
Any proposed token-custody arrangement must meet the certifying authority’s requirements. We do not include automatic signing on your behalf as part of the certificate package.

Questions before you apply
What is a Digital Signature Certificate?
A DSC binds a verified identity to a public key. It supports electronic signing so a recipient can check the signer and whether signed content has changed. It is different from pasting a scanned handwritten signature into a PDF.
Which DSC do I need for MCA, GST or income-tax filing?
Class 3 signing is commonly used for these filings. The certificate identity, PAN details, authorised-signatory role and portal registration must match the use case. Confirm the exact portal and applicant before purchase.
What is the difference between signing and encryption?
Signing supports identity and document-integrity checks. Encryption protects information so it can be read by the intended recipient. A combo contains signing and encryption certificates; buy it only when the workflow requires both.
Is an organisation DSC compulsory for every GeM seller?
Do not assume that every GeM action requires the same certificate. Check the current bid or portal requirement. Where an organisation DSC is required, it identifies an authorised signatory with organisation details; the correct organisation and signatory records must be verified.
How long is a DSC valid?
Validity is selected at purchase. Our price list shows one-, two- or three-year options where available, and one- or two-year DGFT options. Renewal requires fresh identity verification rather than simply extending the old certificate.
Is a USB token included in the price?
The two-year organisation signing package includes a USB token. Other certificate and token prices are shown separately. A new token is ₹600 plus GST unless a selected package explicitly includes it. Confirm compatibility before reusing an existing token. Delivery arrangements are confirmed before paying for a new token.
Can I download the DSC immediately after payment?
Payment starts the order; it does not replace KYC. The licensed certifying authority issues the certificate after successful verification. We guide the applicant through verification and setup. Token delivery and portal registration can take additional time.
Does BharathInCorp issue the certificate?
The certificate is issued by a CCA-licensed certifying authority. BharathInCorp assists with selection, application coordination and setup.
Can I share my token password or OTP with your team?
Keep the token, PIN, private key and identity-verification OTPs under your control. We can explain the process without asking you to send these credentials through chat.
